Purpose

The purpose of these terms is to define usage of the Biblio-Santé site (bibliosante.ca) by the user.

All access and/or usage of the bibliosante.ca site presumes unconditional acceptance and respect of these terms of use.

If a user does not want to accept all or part of these general terms, he or she is asked to refrain from using the bibliosante.ca site.

Exclusion of Liability

The information on the bibliosante.ca site should not replace a diagnosis or medical examination by a physician or qualified health professional.

The Québec Public Library Association, its employees, directors and administrators assume no responsibility for any consequences resulting from use of the information provided on the site.

Limited Reproduction Rights

The Québec Public Library Association grants users of this site the non-exclusive right to reproduce elements for which the Association holds the copyright. Any reproduction must be solely for personal use or by a library participating in the Biblio-Santé program and, in all cases, for non-profit purposes.

In the case of reproduction for personal purposes, the reproduction must always identify the bibliosante.ca site as the source of the reproduced item and must not be used on another website. This non-exclusive reproduction right can be withdrawn with a notification to this effect posted on the bibliosante.ca site.

In the case of reproduction by a participating library, the library must refer to the Letter of Agreement signed with the Québec Public Library Association regarding its participation in the Biblio-Santé program. Libraries not participating in the program may not, under any pretext, reproduce the content of the bibliosante.ca site.

Any other usage or reproduction of the site’s content requires prior specific written authorization from the Québec Public Library Association.
